With this contract, the contracting authority aims to redevelop the Researchpark Zellik (RPZ) into a sustainable, CO2-neutral research and innovation cluster for knowledge-intensive businesses. This will involve structural cooperation between knowledge institutions, research centres and enterprises, both Flemish and international. The site must evolve into a magnet for research groups, spin-offs, startups and businesses that collaborate on a sustainable society. The contract includes the preparation of (1) a socio-economic study, (2) a study of the development framework, (3) a spatial master plan (incl. implementation trajectory), (4) a study of the governance model and (5) the process guidance and the participation trajectory.
