The contracting authority is considering continuing the self-insurer role for the WGA as of 1 January 2027. Whether the contracting authority will actually continue the self-insurer role with a private insurance for the WGA depends on whether the self-insurer role is a (financially) more attractive option than financing the WGA through the UWV or managing it in-house. Robidus will carry out the analysis to determine the above. If the contracting authority actually decides to become/remain a self-insurer through a private insurance, the contract will be awarded to the most suitable party and the resulting award of a contract. The evaluation of the registrations will take place on the basis of the award criterion best price-quality ratio (BPKV). This criterion is further described in this tender. The contracting authority had a total of 5,117 employees on the reference date 31-12-2025. The expected maximised WIA wage sum in 2025 amounts to €250,881,019. The actual scope of the contract is known after the final premium statement WGA insurance.
