Switzerland – Hazard protection and control consultancy services – Projekt Mitholz: Naturgefahrenbeobachtung 2027-2036

Within the framework of the project «Clearance of former Mitholz ammunition depot» construction works are being carried out in a complex alpine environment, which can be influenced by various gravitational natural hazards such as floods, debris flows, rockfall, landslides and avalanches. The aim of the project is to ensure the safety of persons and property at all times during all construction phases. The present tender comprises the procurement of natural hazards advisors for the period 2027–2036, who will observe the situation during the construction works on a daily basis and formulate suitable measures for the operation of the construction site. The natural hazards advisors thus assume a central function in the project's safety arrangements and form the interface between natural hazards assessment, construction management and operational implementation on the construction site.
