DB InfraGO AG plans to carry out the complex measure of the reconstruction of Bf Wiederitzsch, consisting of the renewal of EÜ Bf Wiederitzsch with adaptation of track layout, replacement new construction of EÜ Viaduktweg and replacement new construction of EÜ Delitzscher Landstraße. The investment sum for this project is estimated at approximately EUR 210 million. Of this amount, approximately EUR 43 million has already been settled through an existing contract. The newly tendered insurance contract will replace the existing contract. A construction period until 31.08.2028 is currently planned. The insurance contract will begin after the completion of the tendering procedure with the date of the award following a currently existing preliminary cover. (Type L) In the liability insurance, the coverage amount per claim is EUR 25,000,000 in total for personal, property, and financial losses, including the benefits from the environmental liability insurance. In the professional indemnity insurance, a separate coverage amount of EUR 10,000,000 in total for property and financial losses is available per claim. The aforementioned amounts are maximised threefold. The Extendend Maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance part amounts to 42 months. The subsequent liability in the liability insurance amounts to 10 years, in the environmental liability and environmental damage insurance 5 years. The general deductible amounts to at least EUR 25,000. The deductible is waived for personal injuries. In the professional indemnity insurance, the extended planning cover is included. As part of the extended planning cover, the deductible amounts to EUR 100,000.
