Germany – Scheduled air transport services – PAX weltweit

The transport of personnel for missions, exercises and other projects of the Bundeswehr is carried out within the framework of logistical air transport, fundamentally using military aircraft. If no military air transport capacity is available, or if it is necessary or expedient for other reasons (operational, time-related, etc.), the transport of personnel is carried out via civilian commercial service providers. The subject of this contract is therefore the worldwide transport of at least 100 persons each time, along with their travel luggage - hand luggage and accompanied travel luggage - as well as additional transport goods on a full charter basis. The luggage includes, in addition to the actual travel luggage, additional travel luggage with mission-relevant material of up to 90 kilograms per person and, as additional transport goods, for example, weapons, ammunition, service dogs or other military material. The contractual services include both transport from Germany and to Germany. The central airport of departure and destination is the military part of Cologne/Bonn Airport. In addition, further civilian airports of departure and destination in Germany are contractually provided for, without this restricting the service-determining right of the contracting authority in this respect. The transport is carried out in the size categories 1 (at least 100 to 149 persons), 2 (at least 150 to 189 persons) and 3 (at least 190 persons), and this is determined by the contracting authority both as an outward flight with and without a return flight ("one-way" or "round-trip"). The contract does not provide for the fixed ordering of individual transport services, but only the possibility of a maximum of 450 calls per year over 3 years with the option of extending the contract twice by one year each.
