Germany – Architectural services for outdoor areas – Schulzentrum Galgenberg BA 2 - 3, Freiraumplanung

The objective is the climate-resilient design of the outdoor area of the SZ Galgenberg as well as the development of the schoolyard as a climate oasis/neighbourhood square. Green-blue infrastructure in combination with an attractive and challenging design should be established based on the current state of science. The orientation towards the Assessment System for Sustainable Building (BNB) of the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building is generally desired, reference is made to the evaluation criteria for outdoor facilities. The use and integration of materials (pavings, planting, etc.) that meet both constructive and design criteria and have a sustainably positive urban climate impact is expected and supported (key term "sponge city").
