The Planning and Building Department manages large amounts of data connected to building applications, property, geodata and more. Stable access to this data is decisive for ensuring efficient case handling and the provision of services to inhabitants and businesses. The objective of the procurement is to establish a secure and robust system for backing up and restoring data. The procured system shall contribute to ensuring high availability to the agency's data and systems and reduce risk connected to data loss, security events and interruptions to operations. The system shall support the agency ́s need for: - protection of mission critical data. - Quick Recovery on Events - Robustness against cyber threats (including ransomware). - flexibility in connection with the transition to Oslo municipality ́s common ICT platform. The procurement comprises a combined system for backup and recovery that can consist of: - service delivery from the tenderer ́s platform. - operation of systems in the contracting authority ́s or third-party environment. - necessary components for storage and recovery. The system shall ensure that backup copies are stored at least two independent locations, which are physically and logically separate.
