Germany – Pier construction work – Lübeck-Travemünde, Skandinavienkai - Erweiterung der Anlegerkapazitäten

The Skandinavienkai is one of the largest RoRo and ferry ports in Europe, located directly at the mouth of the Trave into the Baltic Sea. The Hanseatic City of Lübeck, represented by the Lübeck Port Authority (LPA), plans to expand the berth capacity for 2 berths at the Skandinavienkai in Travemünde, which will in the future handle new generations of ships. As the basis for the overall project, plans have been drawn up, which need to be optimized in the further project phases with innovative solutions. The LPA wants to work in partnership with specialist companies in the port and waterway construction sector to jointly develop innovative solutions and implement them in the project. The early involvement of the execution expertise in the planning phase should form the foundation for transparent and balanced cooperation among all partners throughout the entire duration of the project and characterise it.
