Germany – Railway tunnel construction work – Neubau Rudersdorfer Tunnel

The subject of VP01 is the construction work relating to the tunnel shell and parts of the associated execution planning. It essentially comprises the following main construction services:

- Establishment of the construction site facilities (BE)

- Earthworks preliminary cuts

- Preparatory works

- Driving of two single-track tunnel tubes in parallel to the existing tunnel (length: approx. 3.05 km, incl. 6 connecting structures)

- Construction of a pressure-tight tunnel structure (up to approx. 12 bar)

- Construction of tunnel tubes using the open construction method (OBW) in the areas of the North and South portals (incl. portals and backfilling).
