Germany – Underground work other than tunnels, shafts and subways – Betriebshof Käfertal - VE3 Vorabmaßnahmen

The overall measure "Reconstruction and Capacity Expansion of Käfertal Station and Depot" consists of three main components:

1. Reconstruction of Käfertal Station with the adjoining track sections and road junctions

2. New construction of the maintenance workshop

3. New construction of the storage hall, incorporating the existing historic workshop hall

The present tender includes the following services:

- Demolition works (garages, bulk material boxes, storage buildings)

- Earthworks

- Removal, interim storage and replacement of topsoil

- Creation of earth-ground level, introduction of earth masses

- Excavation, drainage and sewerage works

- New construction of soakaways

- Cable and conduit works

- Road construction

- Creation of foundations for overhead line masts

- Creation of provisional surfaces for construction work

- Traffic safety services with signage and marking during the construction period
