The district of Celle intends to fundamentally renew and future-proof its existing security infrastructure in the area of perimeter protection. As part of this measure, the currently used perimeter firewall is to be replaced by a high-availability firewall cluster from the manufacturer Palo Alto Networks (PAN). The aim is to meet the growing demands on performance, security, transparency, and controllability of data traffic and, at the same time, to lay the foundation for future state projects (particularly Aegis).
