Sweden – Global navigation and positioning systems (GPS or equivalent) – Fordonsbaserat IT-stöd

The Rescue Service intends to procure a vehicle-based IT support for the organisation's emergency response vehicles (approx. 80 units). Vehicle-based IT support means hardware and software that can handle alarm reception, navigation, status signaling, mission support, and command support in vehicles. The aim of the procurement is to obtain a single system from one supplier. Uniformity is sought in the form of a common platform of hardware and software. Service and support as well as updates should be manageable without operational disruptions. Depending on the function and vehicle type, different vehicles will be equipped with different hardware and software. The vehicle types available are resource vehicles, rescue vehicles, command vehicles, and FIB vehicles, and depending on the vehicle type, the requirement specification will be adapted accordingly.
