Netherlands – Engineering works and construction works – 2025-0406 Wijkvernieuwing Gasthuiswijk fase 4

The municipality of Leiden is renewing the public space in Gasthuiswijk – Haagweg Zuid, phase 4. The contract involves the technical development of the approved final design (DO) in a design and construct team and the subsequent realisation of the work. During the design and construct team phase, the DO will be developed into a contract file ready for execution, including a BOS bill of quantities, drawings, execution schedule, BLVC plan and risk dossier. The contractor's execution knowledge will be utilised for, among other things, feasibility, phasing, construction logistics, accessibility, cables and pipes, costs and risks. The realisation phase mainly involves the replacement of approximately 2,000 m of sewer, redevelopment of approximately 18,000 m² of public space, climate adaptation, greening, works near a high-voltage line, a space reservation for a future district heating network and low-emission and circular work.
