France – Retirement home construction work – Construction d’un Etablissement d’Hébergement pour Personnes Agées Dépendantes (EHPAD) du Groupe Hospitalier Universitaire Paris Psychiatrie & Neurosciences (GHU Paris) sur le site de Perray-Vaucluse

Reconstruction works for an elderly residence with 96 rooms. The project involves the construction of new buildings to transfer the activities of the former EHPAD to the immediate vicinity of the current MAS de la Gilquinière. Main building with 3 levels: Ground floor to +2. Common spaces on the ground floor (catering, shops, etc.). The operation is located in the complex of the GHU Perray-Vaucluse, a historic site specialising in French psychiatry and dating from the mid-19th century, in Epinay-sur-Orge in the department of Essonne (91). The site is near the Parc Naturel du Perray and the Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois RER station. The project is part of a strong environmental approach, within the framework of sustainable development objectives (regulation, certification and labels, BDF approach, etc.). The contracting authority has decided to apply the provisions of Article L2112-2 of the Public Procurement Code, by including in the tender documents a mandatory social inclusion clause for lots No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. It has also decided to use a building information modelling (BIM) approach, justified by the complexity of the project and the objectives of improving quality, coordination, and cost and time management.
