BLS Breitband plans to establish a subsidised gigabit network based on FTTB technology in the municipal areas listed in section A.3 of the tender documents, using existing fibre optic infrastructure, progressively from 2026 to 2029. Starting from the existing BLS Breitband backbone network, the subsidised gigabit network (FTTB) will consist of feeder infrastructure into the supply area and local distribution networks in the respective expansion areas - Engstingen, Gomadingen, Hohenstein, Münsingen, Pfronstetten, Zwiefalten.
