Luxembourg – Construction work for railways and cable transport systems – Ligne 1 Luxembourg – Troisvierges. Renouvellement des voies entre Mersch et Cruchten.

As part of the project, the following works are planned: renewal of the main running tracks (left track and right track) over a length of approximately ± 8,700 m with modernisation of the various components, including the installation of mono-block B 70 W concrete sleepers with elastic rail fastening, installation of UIC60 rails, and partial replacement and cleaning of the blast furnace slag ballast with natural stone ballast. The main phase (period of complete closure of the railway line) of the track renewal works will take place from Monday 22.03.2027 until Monday 12.04.2027 (01:00). Preparatory works can begin 2 weeks before the track closure period and finishing works must be completed by the end of April 2027.
