Germany – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – Wettbewerb Schulzentrum Sandweg Rösrath

In the Schulzentrum Sandweg 19 in Rösrath, there is a fundamental need for renewal due to the partially outdated and energetically and functionally inadequate building stock of the Gemeinschaftsgrundschule (GGS), the Katholische Grundschule (KGS), and the Mittelbau. The city of Rösrath therefore plans a future-proof restructuring of the site through the replacement of the existing buildings. The plan is to construct new buildings for the four-stream GGS and the three-stream KGS on the existing plot without costly interim measures. Additionally, a common multifunctional building with a canteen and a two-court sports hall is to be created on the site, forming a new urban planning center of the school site. The general planning services for architecture, structural engineering, technical building equipment, as well as outdoor facilities and fire protection are to be awarded through a competition with subsequent negotiations.
