Germany – Architectural and related services – Neubau des Wellness- und Gesundheitszentrums Solemar Bad Dürrheim - Hochbaulicher und freiraumplanerischer Realisierungswettbewerb mit Ideenteil
Description
The Kur- und Bäder GmbH Bad Dürrheim intends to replace the existing Solemar wellness and health centre with a forward-looking new building. After more than three decades of intensive use, the existing facility has reached the end of its life cycle both structurally and technically. The Solemar forms the central health and wellness centre of the health resort town of Bad Dürrheim and is one of the region's key economic drivers. As a modern spa and recreation offering, it combines the areas of wellness, health, fitness and regeneration. Future-oriented concepts such as "Longevity" and "Bio-Hacking" are also firmly established here. From traditional Kneipp applications to innovative offerings such as cryotherapy, from the healing power of brine to the diverse sauna landscape, the Solemar has stood for high quality of stay, prevention and sustainable recovery for around four decades. The procedure will be launched as a single-stage, non-open and interdisciplinary implementation competition with an interim submission and feedback on the interim status. A total of 30 participants are admitted. The issuer selects 7 participants in advance. The procedure is anonymous (Section 1 (4) RPW 2013) and will be conducted in German (Section 5 (Annex I No. 20 RPW 2013). The subject of the competition is the development of an architectural, structural and spatial planning with an ideas section for the new building of the Solemar wellness and health centre in Bad Dürrheim. Eligible to participate are applicant teams that meet the professional requirements. Professional requirements are the authorisations to use the following professional titles according to the legal provisions of the country of origin: architect, landscape architect and structural engineer (or comparable qualification). Landscape architects and structural engineers are eligible to participate in collaboration with architects. The applicant team can consist of several offices and/or as an interdisciplinary office that combines two or all three disciplines. It is permissible for a member of the applicant team to cover several planning disciplines. For further information, please refer to 5.1. of the notice and the attached short information.
