Belgium – Cleaning and sanitation services in urban or rural areas, and related services – Raamovereenkomst voor de periodieke reiniging van civiele bouwwerken

The city of Antwerp has an extensive portfolio of civil engineering works that are (co-)owned and managed by the city. These include bridges, footbridges and cycle bridges, quays, canopies, tunnels, pontoons, jetties, parapets and other structures. The Business Unit Urban Development is responsible for the management and maintenance of this complex infrastructure. This contract concerns the conclusion of a framework agreement for the periodic cleaning of various civil engineering works owned by and/or managed by the city of Antwerp. The objective of the contract is to ensure the functionality, safety, sustainability and aesthetic quality of this infrastructure. The contract includes, on the one hand, the periodic cleaning, moss removal and removal of various forms of contamination from civil engineering works, infrastructure elements and bridge deck joints. On the other hand, it includes the systematic identification and reporting of detected damage to structural elements, finishing layers and protective layers.
