Finland – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – Maantie 152 välillä vt 3 Hämeenlinnanväylä - kt 45 Tuusulanväylä (Kehä 4), tiesuunnitelma

The Uudenmaan Elinvoimakeskus launches a tendering competition with this procurement notice for the procurement of a DESIGN CONSULTANT for the project "Road 152 between vt 3 Hämeenlinnanväylä - kt 45 Tuusulanväylä (Kehä 4)". The new approximately 13-kilometre-long transverse road connection between Hämeenlinnanväylä (vt 3) and Tuusulanväylä (kt 45) will form a central part of the Uusimaa-kaava 2050 transport system and support the development of the competitive logistics capability of Keski-Uusimaa. The connection supports the shift of the logistics focus from the Kehä 3 area to northern Keski-Uusimaa and enables the development of new, sufficiently large logistics and business areas, especially in the Focus area in Tuusula. The current connections towards national road 3 do not meet the needs of the business sector. The new road connection will reduce heavy traffic through the urban areas of Keski-Uusimaa, improve traffic safety, and support the attractiveness of the centres and other land use development. The road has been identified as an important planning target in the MAL 2023 plan.
