Belgium – Clothing, footwear, luggage articles and accessories – Schooluniform

From 1 September 2027, Mariagaarde will introduce a compulsory uniform for secondary students. From that date, students in the first and second year of the first grade must wear a school uniform. From September 2028, the uniform requirement will be extended by one year each time until all students up to the sixth year are required to wear a uniform. Compulsory uniform items, with the exception of the skirt, bear the school logo. Students will purchase these compulsory uniform items from the store and/or the online shop. They will have the opportunity to try them on in advance. They can purchase multiple identical items, but are not required to purchase all items from the compulsory range. The school will not purchase and sell uniforms; however, uniforms will be displayed at the school. Non-compulsory clothing items do not bear the school logo and can be purchased by students elsewhere. These clothing items are also offered by the supplier of the compulsory uniform. We wish to conclude a 4-year contract, with the possibility, due to inventory, investment in store space and/or webshop, knowledge of the area, the convenience of the parents through habit, continuity of the articles, to extend for two years.
