Poland – Refuse and waste related services – Odbiór i zagospodarowanie odpadów komunalnych na terenie miasta Gliwice

The subject of the contract is the provision of services for the collection and disposal of municipal waste from residential properties in the city of Gliwice. The collection of municipal waste under the concluded contract will take place only in the city of Gliwice, from the areas of properties where residents live, and will concern any quantity of the following types of municipal waste: - residual waste (mixed), - plastic, metal, multi-material packaging, - paper, - glass, - textile and clothing waste, - biowaste, - bulky waste. The contractor will also be obliged to equip residential properties with containers and bags for collecting municipal waste, their washing and disinfection, as well as to develop schedules for the collection of waste and the washing and disinfection of containers. The contractor will ensure the collection of municipal waste accumulated by the owners of residential properties, in accordance with the resolutions of the Gliwice City Council, and will dispose of the collected waste in accordance with the Act of 14 December 2012 on waste, the Act of 13 September 1996 on maintaining cleanliness and order in municipalities, as well as environmental protection requirements. The contracting authority envisages the possibility of increasing the number of residential properties covered by the subject of the contract, but by no more than 10% of their number. The envisaged changes result from the settlement of residents in newly created properties. All changes will be made within the scope of the contract. The change in the number of residential properties covered by the contract will not result in a change in the provisions of the contract. The contracting authority will inform the contractor each time of the increase in the number of residential properties by email to the contractor's address indicated in § 12 of the contract.
