The contracting authority intends to procure a total of 356 parking ticket machines (hereinafter "PTM") in the city area of Mannheim in a staggered manner. The subject of the contract is the delivery (including programmable, web-based software), installation, commissioning of the PTM, plus system service and other service services including a guaranteed spare parts supply. The delivery, installation and commissioning of the first batch of 48 PTM (each with solar cells) is due within eight weeks after the award of the contract. In addition, a spare parts package for 5 PTM is to be delivered with the first batch. After the acceptance of the first batch by the contracting authority, the system service, other service services and the guaranteed spare parts supply are also part of the service. During the contract period, further deliveries, installations and commissioning of a total of 308 PTM, including programmable, web-based software, are to be made in Mannheim and Schwetzingen in further batches, in as yet undetermined specific quantities and at as yet undetermined specific times. The contract therefore includes as the main service (excluding optional service) a total of 356 PTM. In particular, the contracting entity reserves the right to award the contract on the first offer.
