The various Areas of EGEMASA have independent and recurring needs to acquire materials included in the categories subject to the SDA (Workwear, special clothing and protective clothing. This demand is continuous and, moreover, hardly predictable with precision, to the extent that replenishment and purchases are determined by actual consumption, wear and tear, deterioration due to use, unforeseen incidents, changes in size/season, breakages, operational emergencies and unexpected needs arising from the provision of services. The need lies in providing clothing, workwear, accessories and personal protective equipment essential for the performance of EGEMASA's services as required by the Occupational Risk Prevention Law, under which workers, in the performance of their work functions, must have Personal Protective Equipment that fully guarantees their Safety and Health at work. Consequently, it is necessary to have a procurement system that allows the real needs of each Area to be met in an agile and flexible manner, ensuring at all times the availability of the clothing and protective equipment required by the regulations on occupational risk prevention.
