The subject of the consultation is the provision of a Functional Guarantee Insurance policy for La Poste SA and its subsidiaries in metropolitan France and DROM. The objective is, in particular, to cover bodily, material and psychological damage resulting from an assault (pursuant to the Functional Protection of public law agents and extended to private law employees) and dog attacks. The contract concerns approximately 190,000 employees and agents (mainly postal office and communal postal agency staff as well as postmen). This contract is taken out by La Poste SA both on its own behalf and on behalf of its subsidiaries in metropolitan France and DROM. The capacity sought for this contract is 4,000,000 euros per year of insurance.
