The modification of a public procurement contract, during its validity period, is made in the conditions provided for in Article 221 of Law no. 98/2016. The modification of a contract during its validity period, other than in the cases and conditions provided for in Article 221 of Law no. 98/2016, is carried out by organising a new award procedure, in accordance with the provisions of the law.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 160(1) of Law 98/2016, as subsequently amended and supplemented, the deadline by which any economic operator interested in participating in the public procurement procedure has the right to request clarifications or additional information regarding the award documentation is 12 days. The contracting authority sets the deadline within which it will respond to all requests for clarifications or additional information as the 6th day.
