Germany – General management consultancy services – Rahmenvereinbarung über die Auslandsrepräsentanz der LEG Thüringen an der Ostküste der USA

Block 1: Trade – Expansion and deepening of economic cooperation between Thuringia and the USA (as needed North America) To fulfill this task, the bidder is requested to comprehensively cover the following services:

1. First point of contact for Thuringians, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), but also for economically relevant research institutions and cluster organisations, in the search for potential business partners and for market entry;

2. Collection of sector-specific market information, preparation of general market reports and examination of the relevance of individual products for market entry;

3. Research of concrete project approaches for the integration of Thuringian companies from the relevant sectors and technology fields;

4. Maintenance and expansion of contacts with economic policy decision-makers, regional companies, institutions, associations;

5. Support for companies in finding legal advice, in insurance, tax and legal matters and in customs matters and, if necessary, in the rental of real estate (business premises);

6. Individual support for Thuringian companies in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of trade fairs, exhibitions, business trips, conferences and contact and cooperation exchanges for acquiring first contacts;

7. Active promotion and support in the acquisition of participants for events by Thüringen International;

8. Content preparation and organisational support for measures by Thüringen International in the target region.

If necessary, the contractor supports the client in content and organisational matters in the planning and implementation of measures for market development. This includes in particular information events in online/hybrid or face-to-face format, business and delegation trips for market development. If necessary, the contractor accompanies the business trip/delegation trip in the sense of the care of the participating companies and in the sense of the content and organisational support of Thüringen International.

Note: The services listed below are optional additional services and are not part of the scope of services to be provided by the contractor within the framework of this contract.

Block 2: Identification and approach of companies interested in settling from the USA for the location Thuringia (lead generation)

To fulfill this task, the bidder is requested to comprehensively cover the following services for the duration of the contractual relationship:

1. Point of contact for US companies and investors on behalf of LEG Thüringen;

2. Independent generation of company contacts and approach of US companies;

3. Company visit programmes in the United States;

4. Follow-up support.

In addition to the core activities, the contractor can – subject to availability and agreement with the client – provide the following additional services:

5. Support at international trade fairs;

6. Market and sector insights USA;

7. Marketing and event support;

8. Networking with intermediaries;

9. Planning and implementation of investor events for location marketing and investor acquisition.
