Introduction of a software solution for the creation of electricity price scenarios for the long-term asset valuation at the TIWAG. To comprehensively evaluate the current and future economic viability of existing assets and expansion projects, a software solution based on a fundamental model will be implemented. This will enable robust electricity price scenarios to be created, taking into account key influencing factors such as primary energy prices, the European power plant park, the transmission grid, and electricity demand. Furthermore, the model allows for the analysis of regulatory, meteorological, and energy policy developments, for example, changes in market areas, capacity markets, inflow risks, or the expansion of renewable energies, and thus supports well-founded investment and strategy decisions.
