The AG operates two workshops where maintenance and repair work, as well as legally required inspections, are carried out on vehicles and technical equipment belonging to both the AG and the departments of the City of Cologne, and the Fire Department of the City of Cologne. As part of these services, approximately 2,800 tyres of various sizes are needed annually. Of these, approximately 2,400 new tyres and approximately 400 retreaded tyres will be procured through the framework agreement to be concluded. The quantities specified are an estimated annual requirement, but there is no entitlement to take delivery of the specified quantity.
