Germany – Load-bearing structure design services – Ortsgemeinde Kinderbeuern - Kindertagesstätte "Zauberwald" Kinderbeuern: Anbau, Umbau- und Sanierungsmaßnahmen, Los 3: Tragwerksplanung

The contracting authority and client, the municipality of Kinderbeuern, Kondelstraße 24a, 54538 Kinderbeuern, intends to expand the existing two-group day-care centre "Zauberwald" in Kinderbeuern into a three-group facility based on the Kita-Zukunftsgesetz. The expansion will include a nest group for children under three years of age and two regular groups with a total capacity of 54 children. The current facility, with a maximum of 32 places, does not meet the demand. The planning phases 1-4 of the building and technical building services (TGA) planning have already been completed. Due to the forecasted decline in the number of children in the municipality, the needs assessment had to be reviewed by the municipality and the youth office, which is why the awarding of planning phases 5-9 HOAI was initially postponed. In the meantime, the decision has been made to continue the construction measure based on the existing planning, so that the awarding of planning phases 5-9 HOAI can take place. Furthermore, this tender is to award the structural engineering services in planning phases 1-6. The measure comprises two extension areas and extensive renovation and refurbishment work in the existing structure: - Larger extension with U3 group room, sleeping room, changing room, storage room, corridor with cloakrooms, disabled WC, staff WC, staff room and storage room; - Second extension with technical room, WC/ changing room for the domestic worker and new kitchen with dishwashing area, antechamber and storeroom; modification of the entrance area/vestibule; renovation and refurbishment of the washroom; - Renovation and refurbishment measures in the existing structure: creation of a boot corridor at the side entrance, demolition of internal and partition walls to create ancillary and bistro areas, renewal of floor coverings, installation of new acoustic ceilings, energy-saving measures (ceilings, facade, floor) and barrier-free access; - Overhaul and reconstruction of the outdoor facilities and access routes as well as supplementation of fencing and gates, if necessary. During the implementation, the ongoing day-care centre operation will take place in a temporary location. The planning should be carried out promptly after the order has been placed. The implementation of the project is planned to be completed by the end of 2028.
