Germany – Architectural, engineering and planning services – Umnutzung der ehemaligen Grundschule Unterbruch in ein Mehrgenerationen-Bürgerzentrum/Architektenleistung

The city of Heinsberg is awarding architectural services (HOAI phases 2 to 8) for the conversion of the former primary school Unterbruch (Anton-Loevenich-Straße 6, 52525 Heinsberg) into a multi-generational community centre. The plans include, among other things, club rooms, a training room, a youth club and a childcare facility on the ground floor, the specific orientation of which (presumably an inclusive kindergarten) still needs to be coordinated with a new user. Due to this changed use requirement, phase 2 of the service must be provided again and adapted to the adjusted use concept. The project is being funded under the REVIER.GESTALTEN - energy-efficient renovation of municipal buildings programme (funding approval has been received). The building must be completed by a fixed date of 31.12.2029 due to the limited funding period. The contract will be awarded in stages.
