1. **Power to conclude the contract**

The contracting authority is the European Commission, Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union, Directorate B: Customs Policy, Unit B.2: Customs Legislation and Procedures, located at Rue de la Loi 170, 1048 Brussels, Belgium.

2. **Description of the procurement**

The purpose of this contract is to provide and implement an eFTI infrastructure. The eFTI infrastructure will be used to support the implementation of the Union Customs Code (UCC) and the related customs legislation, in particular the provisions related to the submission of customs declarations and the exchange of information between customs authorities and economic operators.

El objeto de este contrato es proporcionar y poner en marcha una infraestructura eFTI. La infraestructura eFTI se utilizará para apoyar la implementación del Código Aduanero de la Unión (CAU) y la legislación aduanera relacionada, en particular las disposiciones relacionadas con la presentación de declaraciones aduaneras y el intercambio de información entre las autoridades aduaneras y los operadores económicos.

3. **Type of contract and description of the services**

The contract will be a supply contract with services. The services to be provided include the supply and implementation of the eFTI infrastructure, as well as maintenance and support services. The eFTI infrastructure will include hardware, software, and network components.

El contrato será un contrato de suministro con servicios. Los servicios a proporcionar incluyen la entrega y la puesta en marcha de la infraestructura eFTI, así como servicios de mantenimiento y soporte. La infraestructura eFTI incluirá componentes de hardware, software y red.

4. **Duration of the contract**

The duration of the contract will be 48 months from the date of signature of the contract.
