Municipality of Veenendaal awards a European public contract for a Public Liability Insurance (part 1), in combination with an Employers' Liability Insurance or equivalent product for employees and hired personnel (part 2). Both parts are inseparably linked in terms of premium setting and coverage and will be awarded to one Contractor based on the best price-quality ratio. Start date 1 January 2027, duration 3 years, with an option to extend for 3 x 12 months (until 1 January 2033). The contract comprises two inseparably linked parts: (1) a Public Liability Insurance for the Municipality of Veenendaal and (2) an Employers' Liability Insurance (or equivalent product, such as an Accident Insurance for Employees during working hours or a 24-hour Accident Insurance) for all employees and hired personnel. The Municipality of Veenendaal has approximately 70,000 inhabitants. The agreement commences on 1 January 2027 for an initial duration of 3 years, with an option to extend for 3 times 12 months (final end date 1 January 2033). Insured amounts, deductibles and number of employees/hired personnel to be insured are further detailed in the Programme of Requirements (Annex 1.B) and the Risk and Information Document (Annex 2.A).
