Poland – Tree seeding – Usługi w zakresie gospodarki leśnej dla Fundacji „Miejski Park i Ogród Zoologiczny w Krakowie" w 2027 roku

The subject of the contract is the provision of forestry services within the following scope: Introduction of artificial regeneration, Protection of plantations from hunting damage, Care of forest plantations, Soil care in plantations, Economic measures in younger age classes, Landscape felling, Care of low and high greenery along footpaths, Sanitary and incidental felling related to tourist safety. Special conditions regarding the implementation of the contract subject: Due to the specific nature of the forests of Wolski Forest, the Contractor is prohibited from using heavy machinery such as: forwarder, harvester, skidder and all machines, or their sets, whose total mass would exceed 5 t. The Contractor is obliged to indicate a person supervising the work, who will be authorized to direct and ongoing contacts with the Contracting Authority. Requirements regarding the rules and methods of work performance result from the fact that Wolski Forest is a municipal forest, strongly penetrated by numerous tourists, moreover, it is a protected forest (based on the decision of the Voivode of Małopolska no. ŚR. IV. KP.6113-1-04 of 26.10.2004). The way the forestry work is carried out here has a decidedly protective character (not related to the production of timber assortments) completely different from that in productive forests of forest enterprises. Forestry work in Wolski Forest is carried out on the basis of the current simplified forest management plan. The Contractor is obliged to carry out the work in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment (D.U. poz. 2408 of 18.12.2017) on the requirements of good practice in the field of forest management.
