The subject of the tender is the supply of electrical energy (green electricity) for the city of Wolfenbüttel in Lower Saxony. The type and scope of the service are specified in the service description and the further tender documents. The delivery period begins on 01.01.2027 at 00:00 and ends on 31.12.2027 at 24:00. The delivery period is therefore one year. The specific delivery start of individual delivery points may deviate from the specified delivery period. In this regard, the information in the service description and its annexes (in particular the list of delivery points) is decisive. Unless a different regulation is provided in the service description or its annexes, the start of supply is the respective delivery start on 01.01.2027 at 00:00. The supply comprises a total of approximately 374 delivery points. The forecast reference consumption is: • for the year 2027: 7,058,223 kWh/a. As a qualification requirement, it is specified that the electricity to be delivered comes exclusively from renewable sources. This includes electricity generation from hydropower, including wave, tidal, salinity gradient and current energy, as well as from wind energy, solar radiation energy, geothermal energy or from biomass, such as biogas, landfill gas and sewage gas. This also includes the biodegradable fraction of waste from households and industry. Electricity from power plants that use fossil fuels (e.g. coal or gas) or nuclear energy is not permitted.
