Sweden – Machine tools – Verkstadsmaskin Svarv 2026

Karlstads universitet is procuring a computer-controlled CNC lathe with dual spindles and a Y-axis to address the following three main areas:

- Material research: Production of test specimens, prototypes and special components in various material types.

- Student education: Practical training of students in machining, mechanical engineering and CNC programming.

- Student projects: Independent work where students manufacture components as part of their thesis projects and project courses.
