Single-use, sterile 3-part “top and bottom” type closed blood collection plastic bag systems for procurement and delivery to performance locations, as well as their unloading and placement at locations designated by the contracting authority. By bag system, the contracting authority means those blood bag systems that consist of a bag suitable for full blood collection with a CPD solution, (to which a blood collection set is connected), a bag suitable for plasma storage and a bag suitable for red blood cell storage with an additive solution, which are connected by tubing segments. The contracting authority will not accept a product in which these bags do not form a system. A total of 800,000 single-use, sterile 3-part “top and bottom” type closed blood collection plastic bag systems are to be procured.
