The current health department of the Neuwied district administration is located on Ringstraße in Neuwied. The existing building is in a state of disrepair and cannot be extended; a vertical extension is not possible from a structural perspective. Therefore, the district of Neuwied is planning a replacement new build, which is to be erected on a district-owned site in the industrial area of Neuwied, next to the building of the Abfallwirtschaft Landkreis Neuwied AöR. To accommodate the required number of parking spaces for employees and visitors, a parking garage is also planned on the site. In consultation with the future users, the parking garage may need to be constructed first. The necessary structural design is being tendered here.
