Germany – Engineering design services – Generalplanungsleistungen für den Bau einer Transportleitung DN 600 von Sandelermöns nach Diekmannshausen

The Oldenburgisch-Ostfriesische Wasserverband is, among other things, responsible for the drinking water supply in the Wesermarsch district. The Wesermarsch district does not have its own intake from a waterworks, as no usable groundwater can be obtained here due to the complete salinization of the subsoil. The supply is ensured by the neighbouring waterworks Sandelermöns and Großenkneten, as well as, to a lesser extent, Nethen. The remaining capacities of the Großenkneten plant will be largely exhausted in the coming years, and thus a balance between the Sandelermöns and Großenkneten waterworks will be necessary. The waterworks Sandelermöns will therefore have an important key position in future drinking water supply. To continue to ensure the drinking water supply in the Wesermarsch district, the water from Sandelermöns is to be made available directly via the Diekmannshausen storage pumping station. A DN 600 transport line from the Sandelermöns waterworks to the Diekmannshausen storage pumping station is therefore planned. The transport line is planned to convey an annual volume of 7.03 million m3/a.
