Switzerland – Electricity distribution and related services – "Betriebsdienstleister" Elektrizitätswerk Surses (OE Surses)

The Ovra Electrica Surses (OE Surses) is the municipal electricity supply company. It is the owner and operator of the distribution network and is responsible for electricity supply. The exception is the Bivio fraction with its own electricity works (EW Bivio). The purpose of the tender is to select a comprehensive network operating service provider as a delegated plant operator and electricity portfolio manager for the OE Surses. The same scope of services is also provided as an option for the EW Bivio in the present procedure. The services include the grid installations and the company's own production facilities (hydropower and small hydropower plants). In addition, all regulatory tasks as network operator, electricity supplier and electricity producer must be fulfilled. The monitoring of the electricity and HKN wholesale market, the definition and implementation of the electricity procurement strategy, the handling of the procurement of certificates of origin for electricity labelling and the fulfilment of all regulatory requirements are also part of the scope of services.
