Correction notice 15.9.2026 the contracting entity has clarified the suitability requirements for business references. No other changes have been made to the procurement notice. The procurement concerns the basic renovation project of Kaivokselan school / main contract works according to the tender documents. The works will be carried out according to the plans drawn up by the contracting authority. The main contractor acts as the main contractor. The contracting authority procures the following subcontracts under the main contract: pipe, ventilation, electrical and building automation contracts. The main contractor also acts as the project manager for the duration of the contract, as well as the contractor responsible for the site management and site services. The tender competition is carried out through an open procedure. The contracting authority has defined the eligibility / suitability requirements for the bidder in the invitation to tender. The contractor who submits the lowest (comparative) bid and meets the eligibility requirements will be selected as the main contractor. The school building, completed in 1966, will undergo an internal renovation and changes will be made to the courtyard area. The largest changes, in addition to the renewal of surface structures, include, for example, the renovation of the dining hall and kitchen to a new location in the building, the construction of two elevators, the expansion of the IV machine rooms on the roof with machinery, and the renewal of the base structures according to the plans and the expansion of the demolition area.
