Finland – Building completion work – Renovering av Närpes stadshus - ventilationstekniska arbeten

Närpes Town (the contracting authority) requests an application to participate in the procurement of Renovation of Närpes Town Hall – ventilation works. The question concerns a renovation and reconstruction of an existing building. The contracting authority tenders building works as the main contractor. The contracting authority procures separate EL and HVAC works, which are subcontracted to the main contractor through subcontractor agreements. The renovation of Närpes Town Hall takes place as a renovation of the existing building at the address Kyrkvägen 2, 64200 Närpes. A description of the contract is outlined in Appendix D - Bill of Quantities. A more detailed description of the contract's content will be presented later in the procurement's tendering phase. The procurement is carried out as an EU procurement via a two-stage procedure with a restricted procedure. The building contract is intended to start as soon as possible, but no earlier than after the procurement decision has entered into legal force and provided that budgeted funds have been granted for the purpose. For the total contract, Närpes Town has currently budgeted funds of 7.25 million €. The contracting authority reserves the right to terminate the procurement, in full, if the municipal council does not allocate sufficient funds for the project.
