The Verbandsgemeindewerke (VGW) Loreley, in collaboration with the Verbandsgemeindewerke (VGW) Nastätten, are planning the construction of an interregional elevated tank (HB) to secure water supply and eliminate isolated areas. With the construction of the HB, supply lines for transporting water to the consumer will be built in the direction of HB Dachsenhausen, Hinterwald and HB Dahlheim. The supply to the new HB will be ensured via a new line from HB Lahnhöll (EVM). The objective of the project is to secure the water supply to the aforementioned areas, given the increasing water demand and the decreasing yield of their own extraction due to the declining groundwater recharge. In this 6th construction phase, lines for the Verbandsgemeinde (VG) and the wastewater treatment plant (AWW) will also be laid. This is independent of the above-described water concept and involves local additional and renewable water supply and wastewater disposal lines.
