Finland – Repair and maintenance services of machinery – Varavoimakoneiden ja muiden diesel-koneiden vuosihuollot ja testaukset

The subject of the contract is the annual maintenance and testing, load testing and repair and installation work for standby generators and other diesel engines, as well as the necessary supplies. The work will be carried out in the premises, buildings and properties owned by or under the maintenance responsibility of Kaupunkiliikenne Oy (Kaupunkiliikenne), Ruskeasuon Varikkokiinteistö Oy (Ruha), RV Kalusto ja Varikko Oy (Kava), Helsingin kaupungin liikenneliikelaitos (HKL), Länsimetro Oy (Länsimetro) and Sammalvuoren Metrovarikko Oy (SVV). The service to be procured and the objects are presented in detail in Annex 3 Service Description and in Annex 4 Equipment List by object, available upon receipt of the confidentiality undertaking. Each purchaser will make an independent procurement decision and procurement contracts. For clarification, it is stated that Kaupunkiliikenne represents all purchasers in matters related to the performance of the services according to the contract. The procurement is divided into Sub-area 1. Metro and depots (OA1) and Sub-area 2. Länsimetro and SVV (OA2). The estimated total value of the procurement excluding VAT for the entire contract period (including possible option periods) is 960,000.00 euros, of which the values of the procurement are distributed by sub-area as follows: OA1: 640,000 euros (VAT 0%). OA2: 320,000 euros (VAT 0%). The selection criterion for tenders is the lowest comparative price by sub-area. The objective of the procurement is to select one (1) supplier for each sub-area. The supplier will be selected as the bidder who meets the requirements of the invitation to tender and has offered the lowest price for that sub-area. The same or different suppliers can be selected as suppliers for Sub-areas 1 and 2. The contract period is four (4) years. In addition, the contract may be extended for a maximum of two (2) two (2) year option periods. Each procurement unit decides on the use of the option separately with its own decision. The contract does not include fixed or minimum purchase obligations, and it does not grant the supplier the exclusive right to provide the service to the purchaser.
