Switzerland – Data-processing machines (hardware) – Ausschreibung Client-Hardware

HOCH Health Ostschweiz, Departement ITSwitzerlandPublished on Jun 09, 2026
Deadline passed

Description

The tender aims to establish the contractual basis for future procurements, starting from 1 January 2027, of client hardware for «Workstation PC» (Lot 1) incl. monitors and docking stations as well as «Healthcare Client» (Lot 2). The focus is on demand-oriented and standardised procurement, the reduction of the existing hardware variety, and the assurance of high product quality and economical maintenance. Existing devices from the previous supplier will continue to be operated until demand-oriented replacement procurement. The new supplier does not have to take over any operating, support or repair services for devices not delivered by them. Defective existing devices will be handled within the warranty period through the existing processes; outside the warranty, replacement with new devices will generally occur. The procurement is divided into the following two lots:

Lot 1: Workstation PC incl. monitors and docking station

Standardised, long-lasting workstation PCs (clients) in various versions for administrative applications with a focus on stability, manageability and lifecycle security, as well as monitors and docking stations. Additionally, recommendations for peripherals (keyboard, mouse, webcam) and telephone headset.

Lot 2: Healthcare Client

Robust, mobile clients for clinical everyday use, particularly for use on visit carts, with high demands on ergonomics and easy disinfectability. The variety of devices should be kept as small as possible. The contracting authority also pursues a single-vendor strategy per lot. This means that the future devices in Lot 1 for clients, monitors and docking must all be from the same manufacturer. Cooperation with the future partners will be regulated in a framework agreement (procurements) and a service agreement (operating services) with a five-year term, which can be optionally extended twice for two years each. The actual procurements will take place during the contract period on a demand-oriented basis. Procurements generally take place in 3-4 larger collective orders per year. It should be possible to handle individual procurements of deviating special versions via the framework agreement. With the conclusion of the contract, a quarter (¼) of the specified quantity structure of a year will be ordered. This initial order must be placed at the offered conditions.
