Germany – Electrical engineering installation works – GEN 2.0 EMSR Technik - Rathenaustraße

The Hamburger Energiewerke GmbH (HEnW) aims to establish an environmentally friendly and efficient heat supply in the areas around Hamburg Airport. To achieve this, the construction of a district heating connection of approximately 4.66 kilometres in length is planned, which will run from an existing line in the Otto-Wels-Str. / Sydneystraße area to the main consumers - Lufthansa Technik (LHT) and the airport. Additionally, connection points for further districts are planned to ensure densification for the coming years. Part of the project is the construction of a district heating pump station in the area of the Alster crossing, which will function as a pressure-boosting station.
