The project “Mitigation of climate change and adaptation to it, through the improvement of sustainable forest management” is funded by the grant aid related to intervention dr 24 “INVESTMENTS IN FORESTRY TECHNOLOGIES THAT IMPROVE THE RESILIENCE AND ENVIRONMENTAL VALUE OF FOREST ECOSYSTEMS UNDER THE 2023 PS 20027 CONDITIONS”. The subject of the contract is the procurement of equipment and specific machinery for the forestry sector to carry out forest care, extraction and utilisation of small wood material from the forest in order to improve the environmental value of forest ecosystems. Furthermore, given that in recent years climate change has caused a warming of the weather and the increasingly frequent occurrence of forest fires. Therefore, it is necessary to acquire equipment that will be used for the prevention, detection and extinguishing of forest fires. The project will contribute to the fulfilment of the legal obligations of civil protection and the regulation, as well as to the achievement of the objectives by equipping with equipment, materials and civil protection means at European quality standards. The number of days until which clarifications can be requested before the deadline for submission of tenders will be: 8 days. The contracting authority will respond clearly and fully to all requests for clarification by the 4th day before the deadline for submission of tenders.
