Germany – Track construction works – Schadschwellenprogramm GoS Südost 2027

Within the framework of several individual measures, the replacement of defective sleepers will be carried out over a total length of approximately 115 km in the 6 networks of the DB InfraGO AG Region Südost. Defective concrete sleepers will mainly be replaced using heavy machinery. At stations and bottlenecks, a conventional sleeper replacement is aimed for. The installation of the new sleepers will also include at least a ballast cleaning. All works will be carried out with minimal operational interruptions. The project aims to avoid impending hot spots in 2027/28 and thus significantly contribute to network stability and availability in the Region Südost.
