Due to the political mandate, the Kreis Euskirchen intends to build a biological treatment plant at the site. The restructuring of the composting plant will result in the expansion and redesign of the plant's external areas. Therefore, a reorganisation of the surface water drainage, including retention and treatment of surface water, will be carried out. As part of the "Advance Works", the Kreis Euskirchen intends to construct in advance parts of the necessary infrastructure measures, storage areas and the partially covered storage facility.
