Public procurement with the subject: „Re-evaluation of the resource, preparation of documentation and proposals for the water use regime and granting the right to use based on the updated operational resources of mineral water from the „Maraš“ deposit, Shumen Municipality“, includes the following activities:

Activity 1 – Examination of borehole No. R-2 from the „Maraš“ mineral water deposit, locality „Kara Meše“, Shumen Municipality, and re-evaluation of the operational resources, including analysis of the available archival information, examination of the borehole by videodiagnostics throughout its entire depth, conducting trial-filtration studies, carrying out chemical, microbiological and radiological analyses of the mineral water from an accredited laboratory, assessment of the technical condition of the water intake facility, preparation of a hydrogeological report, determination of the current operational resources and preparation of the necessary documentation for their approval by the competent authorities.

Activity 2 – Analysis of the sanitary protection zone and preparation of documentation and proposals for the water use regime and granting the right to use based on the updated operational resources of the „Maraš“ mineral water deposit, locality „Kara Meše“, Shumen Municipality, including analysis of the existing management and water use regime, analysis of the sanitary protection zone, preparation of proposals for the operation regime of the water intake facility, preparation of design documentation for amending the water intake permit if necessary, preparation of documents under the Water Act, as well as compiling the necessary documentation for subsequent administrative proceedings before the competent authorities.

The main objective of the public procurement is to carry out a comprehensive re-evaluation of the operational resources of the mineral water from the „Maraš“ deposit, establish the current technical and hydrogeological condition of borehole No. R-2, update the data for the deposit, determine the conditions for sustainable and efficient water use, as well as prepare the necessary technical and administrative documentation for the exercise of the right to manage and use the deposit, in accordance with the requirements of the Water Act, Ordinance No. 1 for the exploration, use and conservation of groundwater and the applicable current legislation.
